This project included design and build of a new 24,000 square foot two-story Squadron Operations Facility and completed interior and exterior renovations to the existing hangar. Work on the existing hangar included seismic strengthening, hazardous material removal, complete gut of existing hangar spaces and construction of new administrative space, and temporary facilities. The style of the new facility needed to blend into the existing architecture of the area. The result is a pleasing design style that, when viewed from San Diego Bay or the shoreline opposite the Base, presents a coordinated architectural palette.
