San Diego Recruit Clothing Issue Facility

This project includes a new 45,000 square foot single-story Recruit Clothing Issue Facility with associated site improvements in the Marine Corp Recruit Depot in San Diego, California. The location of the building is along the historic main concourse of the base, where visitors to the graduation ceremonies approach the central parade deck and quad. The exterior of this new building is designed to blend in with the historic style of this public area and specific maintenance requirements of the base. This project is a LEED silver due to designing with a view to lowering TOC and energy consumption.
